The student team members of ELAI (Enhanced Learning with Artificial Intelligence) are a diverse group of individuals from various fields, such as nursing, computer science, education, and psychology, reflecting the multidisciplinary nature of AI’s applications in education. They are motivated to enhance their own understanding of AI and its ethical, technical, and societal implications, while also advocating for responsible AI use in educational institutions and in related practical arena. ELAI student team members have Innovative Mindset exploring how AI tools and technologies can improve learning experiences, solve complex problems, and transform traditional education methods. They thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with educators, researchers, and industry experts to co-create AI-driven solutions. As Critical Thinkers, they challenge traditional methods of learning and seek innovative approaches to bridge the gap between theory, practice, and research using AI. ELAI student team members advocate for change and see AI as a tool to democratize education and improve accessibility, equity, and learning outcomes for all. These students bring global perspectives from different cultural and academic contexts, contributing to ELAI’s mission of creating inclusive and adaptable AI solutions for education.

Through their involvement in ELAI, these students contribute to shaping the future of education by actively engaging in research, development, and the practical implementation of AI in teaching and learning contexts.

Co- Researchers:

Nour Alrayani is a dedicated professional with a multifaceted background in healthcare, community engagement and education. She is currently finishing her Master’s Degree in International Community Health at the University of Oslo (UiO). She holds a degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oslo Metropolitan University, as well as a certificate in Medical Biology from Bjørknes University College. Her career highlights include leadership roles in student organizations, where she organized comprehensive orientation programs. She has collaborated with diverse stakeholders, and created supportive and inclusive environments for new students. Her experience working in healthcare include community nursing and post-operative care. She participated in projects involving application of welfare technology to enhance patient outcomes, reflecting her commitment to innovation and compassionate care. Nour believes that integrating artificial intelligence into higher education has great potential in enhancing learning experiences.

With a strong commitment to fostering growth and bridging the gap between technology and education, Nour aspires to contribute to initiatives that transform the way knowledge is shared and experienced. As a co-researcher, Nour is involved in the study: AI-driven Innovations in Overcoming Learning Barriers and Enhancing Educational Engagement.
