In my bachelor thesis I have been inspired by surfing and skating. Based on this I have focused on the urban lifestyle of a skater and the free lifestyle of a surfer. These are two phenomena with completely different outlooks on life and fashion. With these two starting points, I have made a commercial and urban brand, where the clothes have a relation to the surf style. The purpose of this collection is to create clothes for people who want to feel a relationship with surfing, even if they are in an urban setting. My concept is “A surfer in the city”.
