I have been inspired by what is associated with different sexes, and how one as a person express a gender perception. What determines who you really are? Is one born with an identity or do you build one over time?
I have worked with the concepts of masculinity and femininity, and the norms one associates with these. I have focused on identity and what characterizes the situation when the gender you appear to be on the outside is inconsistent with the gender that you identify yourself with on the inside.
Based on this, my concept is transsexualism.
