Every summer when I was young I lived on a small island in the Oslofjord. It was a place where adults as much as kids felt carefree and playful. Leonardo DiCaprio in The Beach says “Paradise is not some place you can look for… Because it´s not where you go, its how you feel for a moment in your life when you´re a part of something”. I can relate to that. With my own identity and history in mind I wanted to create a lifestyle brand, which hits a target audience with the same mindset as me growing up: playful, carefree, chill and happy. Based on feelings and memories of my own childhood I got my inspirations, and created the collection Ice Cream for Breakfast – as a reference to when we went to the mainland and chilled by the ice cream bar.
