This project looks at politics in social media. “45” explores how politicians use different rhetoric methods to appeal to their voters and what consequences this could bring. As a case study I chose to analyze Donald Trumps twitter account and use fragments of his posts in the collection to see what effect his words can have when taken out of context. I have looked at how clothes can be used as a tool for showing political identity and the difference between art and fashion. The collection takes inspiration from both Trumps universe, Kazimir Malevichs art and internet memes. The collection is meant to provoke critical thought, but also be humorous and wearable.
