Slow Down

Increase of production, the economic growth and the cheap cloths has led to a buy and throw culture. The hectically days and the hunt after the perfect makes it almost impossible for us to put a price on things that surrounds us these days. Due to the climate changes and fashions big footprint on it the fashion industry should reinvent itself and their values. The alternative solution could be slow fashion, that in theory could change the whole ecological situation and our relationship to clothes. Ethic consumption together with wabi-sabi esthetics could help us achieve new sides in life and we can restart a new life as it is. With help of texture and textile technics I’m trying to create an emotional bond between clothes an owner, something that creates value and that also can change the buy and throw need.
