
Objectives
WP1 ensures the effective coordination and implementation of the FORWARD project throughout its 36-month duration.
It provides the management structure and planning activities that enable all work packages to operate smoothly, on time, and with high quality.
Core objectives of WP1 are to:
- launch the project and align all partners during the kick-off meeting
- establish the Management Committee and Quality Assurance Committee
- develop and approve the Action Plan, Dissemination Plan, and Quality Assurance Plan
- finalise and submit the Partnership Agreement to the Executive Agency
- coordinate reporting, communication, procurement, and risk management
- organise the final stakeholder conference and support sustainability planning
Tasks
T1.1 Kick-off Meeting
A 3-day hybrid kick-off event hosted by OsloMet brings all partners together to present the project strategy, confirm roles, launch work packages, and establish the project committees.
T1.2 Establish Committees
Two committees are created to guide project implementation:
- Management Committee, led by OsloMet, oversees planning, deliverables, timelines, and risks.
- Quality Assurance Committee, led by POLIMI, develops and monitors the QA framework.
T1.3 Partnership Agreement
A comprehensive Partnership Agreement is negotiated, signed by all partners, and submitted to the Executive Agency.
T1.4 Action Plan
A detailed Action Plan defines activities, responsibilities, timelines, resource needs, and risk mitigation across all work packages.
T1.5 Dissemination & Exploitation Plan
A strategic dissemination plan defines target audiences, channels, responsibilities, and methods to evaluate communication impact.
T1.6 Quality Assurance Plan
A QA plan establishes quality indicators, review methods, and a schedule to ensure high standards for processes and results.
T1.7 Final Stakeholder Conference
A final two-day hybrid conference at NMBU presents results, case studies, and recommendations to stakeholders, closing the project and supporting future collaborations.
Deliverables
D1.1 Project Plan & Overview Video
A reference document describing the Action Plan, Dissemination Strategy, QA approach, and risk management, plus a short project introduction video.
D1.2 Mid-Term Progress Report
A mid-term report submitted to the Executive Agency summarising progress, challenges, risks, and financial status.
D1.3 Final Conference Report & Closing Video
A final report documenting results, best practices, and recommendations from the stakeholder conference, plus a closing video.
