About GreenMet
GreenMet is a self-organised group of researchers, academics and students at Oslo Metropolitan University. From 2020 to 2025, we organised biannual seminars on different sustainability themes on the last Friday before the autumn and winter holidays.
Based on these seminars, we published the book: Mediating Sustainability in the Consumer Society.
From autumn 2025, we are testing a new format with informal Brown Bag meetings on the second Thursday of every month, where we showcase and discuss diverse themes related to sustainability research and initiatives.
