Project Manager Fenella Carpena visited the Philippine Embassy in Oslo to share updates on TEMPEST with Ambassador Enrico Fos and Consul Glenn Obach.

She was joined by colleagues from the University of Oslo—Laurence Go (Postdoctoral Researcher) and Matthew Araneta (Research Assistant)—who are also working on Philippines-related research projects.

The meeting included discussion of TEMPEST’s collaboration with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)—which is providing core data for the project—as well as its academic partnerships with University of the Philippines and Ateneo de Manila University.

The Embassy expressed strong support for TEMPEST and emphasized its interest in further strengthening collaboration between Norwegian and Philippine universities.
