We joined forces in Oslo in June 2023 for our PhD course on Dialogues of knowledges in research, with students visiting us from Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia and Mexico. We were fortunate to receive a set of very distinguished , including Nabil Ahmed of NTNU, Liv Inger Somby rector of the Sami University of Applied Sciences, Mikkel Berg-Nordlie of OsloMet, and Eva Fjellheim of the University of Tromsø, who was recently awarded the prestigious Emma Goldmann-award, for her doctoral research.
We concluded our week of discussion and collective efforts at the Norwegian Association of Latin American Studies conference in Drammen, were we chaired and organized the panel Cruzando las fronteras del conocimiento: diálogos de saberes desde la teoría ala práctica, in which we were joined by Cuban visiting scholars Lubia Díaz Bernal and Claudia Felipe Torres.
