The project is a collaborative effort between the faculties of education at four universities: Oslo Metropolitan University and the Inland University of Applied Sciences in Norway, Tribhuvan University and Mid-West University in Nepal, and the Norwegian Institute for Urban and Regional Research, which is a research institute at Oslo Metropolitan University.

Events

Workshop in Kathmandu on Inclusive education, February 16-22 2023. The project team is meeting in Kathmandu to work on the new revised master curriculum in Inclusive and Special Needs education at Tribhuvan University, Faculty of Education. The idea is to update the curriculum to account for ongoing, global debates, and to integrate the concept of Inclusive education into the curriculum.

In March 2022 we held a workshop in Kathmandu to complete the new MPhil/PhD curriculum in IE/SNE at Tribhuvan University.

In September 2022, a Nepalese team visited OsloMet and INN. The team held meetings with the leadership of OsloMet and INN, and visited inclusive schools in Norway. Nepalese team members were professor Nanda Bahadur Singh, Vice-Chancellor Mid-West University, Professor Shiva Lal Bhusal, Rector Tribhuvan University, Professor Chitra Bahadur Budhathoki, Dean, Faculty of Education, Tribhuvan University, Professor Liladhar Tiwari, Dean Faculty of Education, Mid-West University and Professor Emeritus Basu dev Kafle, Tribhuvan University.
