AGING GLOBALLY
This course offers online international learning and short-term student mobility. It explores healthcare systems, public health policies and practices, care delivery in homecare, hospitals and long-term care, as well as aging research, in Canada and Norway. It is a collaboration between OsloMet and Western University (WU) in Canada, and partners in Sweden and Denmark.
Participants are health studies students from WU as well as OT, nursing and technology students from OsloMet. Students:
- Take part in online team activities across campuses
- Present and discuss case studies.
Aging Globally has a Nordic Tour component:
- WU and OsloMet students participate in a two-day innovation camp at OsloMet and visit Alma’s house in Oslo.
- Students visit Stockholm og Copenhagen, where they take part in various educational and cultural activities.
