OsloMet RISE was officially launched on March 19, 2026, with its first event held at Festsalen, OsloMet Pilestredet, and streamed online.
The event introduced the interim board and advisory group, presented progress to date, and provided an overview of the task groups and plans ahead. Pro-Rector Tanja Storsul delivered the keynote address.
A total of 37 participants attended in person and online, representing a diverse audience including PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and researchers in temporary positions. The event also included time for informal discussions and light refreshments.
Preparations for the upcoming board election are underway, and we encourage interested members to consider standing as candidates. Further information about the election process will be shared via email, our website, and social media channels by the independent election committee (IEC).
