Join the Task Group

RISE is looking for members to support the task group “Mapping Democratic Bodies at OsloMet.”

The task group is mapping where and how RISE can participate in university decision-making and will provide the RISE Executive Board with a clearer foundation for future representative work.

What will you contribute? 🗺️

Identify relevant committees, councils and decision-making bodies at OsloMet
Help map structures across faculties, departments, centres and other levels
Identify potential partners, including unions and interest groups
Develop recommendations on where RISE should seek representation
Contribute to the final report for the RISE Executive Board

Who are we looking for?

We are particularly interested in members who already have some knowledge of OsloMet’s decision-making structures or are willing to familiarise themselves thoroughly with them.

An interest in strategic, organisational and representative work is also important.

A focused, time-limited task

The task group has already started its work and operates within a clearly defined mandate. The final report is planned for October 2026, making this a focused opportunity to contribute to a concrete piece of RISE’s organisational development.
