Virtual Global Fact 7

Global Fact 7, an annual conference organized by the International Fact-Checking Network, will be held virtually because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The conference is taking place between June 22-26 (public track) and June 29-30 (private track).

This year’s conference with its virtual setting has allowed the IFCN to organize the largest Global Fact ever! More than 150 speakers from more than 40 different countries will discuss the state and the future of fact-checking. After years of gatherings in London, Buenos Aires, Madrid, Rome, and Cape Town, this year’s conference comes to your screens!

For the first time Global Fact will feature an Academic Track, held by The Department of Journalism and Media Studies at OsloMet, with three panels on Wednesday, June 24, diving into the latest research about misinformation and fact-checking.
