Heidi Gautun participated online at the XX ISA World Congress of Sociology , June 25 – July 1, 2023 in Melbourne, Australia, presenting the article “Help and Care to Older Parents in the Digital Society», coauthored by Christopher Bratt.
January, 17th 2023, The Work Research Institute (AFI) and Norwegian Social Research (NOVA) at Oslo Metropolitan University are arranging a seminar at Litteraturhuset in Oslo on how workers through the various life stages combine work and family life in the digital society. Heidi Gautun will give the presentation “Help and care to older parents in the digital society”. Gautun will present results from the Norwegian survey completed in March and April 2022 among 6,049 people aged 35-67 years, with one or both parents alive. SAMSVAR: Hvem eier tiden din? PhD Aslaug Gotehus is recruited to a two-year post doc position at AFI Oslo Metropolitan University.
Gotehus defended her thesis on 28th January 2021 at Department of Sociology and Human Geography, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Oslo. The title of her dissertation is: «Agency and Temporality in skilled migration».
Gotehus will work on work pachages 3 and 4 and conduct case studies in enterprises in Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
The first stakeholder meeting of CoWorkCare, with representatives of labour market parties, one user organisation and one municipality (the capital Oslo), was arranged 15th October 2021 at Oslo Metropolitan University.
