The GREENGOV team is headed by the Norwegian Institute for Urban and Regional Research (NIBR) at the Oslo Metropolitan University.

Project partners

Roskilde University is represented by Professors Eva Sørensen and Jacob Torfing, Assistant Professor Annika Agger, PhD; and Postdoc Karsten Bruun Hansen, PhD.

The University of Oslo is represented by Professor Anders Elverhøi.

The Institute for Transport Economics is represented by Senior Researcher Anders Tønnesen, PhD.

Mistra Urban Futures is represented by Director David Simon, PhD and Sandra Valencia, PhD.

The Energy Research Centre in Cape Town is represented by Senior Researcher Hilton Trollip, MSc.

Cities

The project has formed collaborative partnerships with the city governments of Oslo, Copenhagen and Gothenburg, which will act as cases in this study.

Funding

The project is funded by the Research Council of Norway through the BYFORSK initiative. The project started in the fall of 2017, and will last through 2021.
