AI Lab

The AI Lab is Oslo Metropolitan University's research center for Artificial Intelligence, and works as an umbrella for different artificial intelligence methods. We take people and society into account, and aim for better coordination of research and innovation on artificial intelligence and facilitate collaboration with other environments.

  New centre aims to prepare future professionals for the digital world
  PACT (Centre for Education in Profession-Applied and Contextualized Technology) is a new centre at OsloMet that will promote a new type of education where all students develop an understanding of how technology interacts with their future profession and with society.

  Information technology at the top of publishing
  The Department of Computer Science had the highest publication number of computer science departments at Norwegian universities and was also at the top among the departments at OsloMet in 2020.
