What are the Relink Classroom Activites?
The Relink Classroom Activities consist of sets of exercises organised around two themes: privacy and surveillance, and technology. You can either do a selection of these or all of them. Prepare to play by downloading and printing the elements you need, following the instructions below.
Feel free to use these resources as inspiration to create your own!
Privacy and surveillance
The privacy and surveillance sheets present ethical dilemmas related to technology use in different settings that the students can respond to in groups or individually. Allow around 20 minutes for each case. Print on A4-paper and write directly on the worksheets.
Technology Investigations
There are three different technology investigations that students can undertake in groups. Choose which to use and print the worksheets on A3 paper.
POO-TELLIGENCE
POO-TELLIGENCE explores a future scenario where toilets have become connected. The exercise consists of four tasks and takes about 2 hours in total. You do not have to do all the tasks. You can start with the first task and then move on to the tasks that you find the most relevant.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
This exercise consists of two tasks examining different artificial intelligence. Each takes up to 60 minutes. You can choose to do either or both.
TECHNOLOGY-SOCIETY
In this exercise, the students will explore the interplay between technology and society related to a device of their choosing. You may also provide examples of technology that you wish them to examine or use the exercise in specific technology-related projects.
