RESEARCHER BIO Lise Grethe is currently a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Health Sciences at Oslo Metropolitan University. Her professional background includes experience as a physiotherapist in primary healthcare, and she completed her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at Oslo Metropolitan University in 2020. Lise Grethe’s PhD research focus is on patients with spinal disorders and their utilization of healthcare services. She is using registry data to map and describe the characteristics of patients referred for specialist care. Moreover, her research involves the identification of trajectories in healthcare utilization for individuals dealing with spinal disorders, and in the development of prognostic models to predict unfavourable outcomes related to conservative spine care.
