Sophie works as an associate professor at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Rehabilitation Science and Health Technology- Physiotherapy at Oslo Metropolitan University. She completed her Bachelor`s degree in Physiotherapy in 2003, and her Master`s degree in Sports Physiotherapy at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences in 2011. In 2018 she completed her PhD “Head injuries in FIS World Cup alpine skiers, snowboarders and freestyle skiers: Epidemiology and video analyses of head impact injury mechanisms” at the Oslo Sports Trauma Research center, at The Norwegian School of Sport Sciences.
