RESEARCHER BIO Kristine is a PhD student at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Oslo Metropolitan University. She is a physiotherapist who has primarily worked in secondary health care with cancer and longstanding vulvar pain. Since completing her MSc in Physiotherapy in 2016, where she specialized in musculoskeletal health, she has conducted several qualitative interview studies investigating how men and women with longstanding gynaecological pain experience physiotherapy. She has also worked part-time as a university lecturer at the Department of Physiotherapy at Oslo Metropolitan University. Kristine´s PhD project explores multimodal physiotherapy for patients with longstanding vulvar pain. She is currently working on a mixed methods study investigating the effect of somatocognitive therapy for young women with provoked vestibulodynia (PVD), combining data from a randomized controlled trial and qualitative interviews.
