Two Research Council of Norway-grants for CEDIC leader Marit Haldar

CEDIC has secured NOK 36.5 million for two large collaborative projects on health innovation.

  • BRO: Sustainable, Radical Task-Sharing in Health and Care received NOK 21.5 million to pilot a task-based welfare model that streamlines work across municipal health services while creating meaningful roles for volunteers and people outside traditional employment. The consortium includes Lillestrøm and Nordre Follo municipalities, Oslo’s St. Hanshaugen district, the University of South-Eastern Norway, and partners at Roskilde University (Denmark) and Örebro University (Sweden).
  • SAFE@HOME: Technologies of care for aging migrants was awarded NOK 15 million to co-design culturally attuned digital home follow-up for older immigrants—reducing access barriers, building trust, and supporting equitable care. Partners are Oslo’s Alna and Søndre Nordstrand districts, and Skien municipality.

We look forward to a busy period ahead, working closely with municipalities and academic partners!
