Doctor on South Sudan

New Doctor: Charlotte Kawesa Ntulume from Uganda
Charlotte Kawesa Ntulume from Uganda received her Ph.d. at the University of Oslo (Department of Media and Communication) 1 November.
She has analysed the coverage of the conflict in South Sudan by the newspapers in the country, Uganda and Kenya: Framing an African Conflict: Perspectives from the Local Press.
She also lectured on Media Coverage of African Conflicts in Western and African media: a comparative design for future journalism research.
Ntulume is one of five PhD students under the Dept of Journalism and Media Studies’ Norhed cooperation with Makerere University.
