How to protect sources – and yourself
Journalism & Media International Center (JMIC) has started the new year with safety training on zoom for journalism and photojournalism students from Bangladesh, Nepal and Norway 20 January.
Safety coach Abeer Saady led the interactive webinar, which had almost 40 participants. The focus was on protecting sources – and yourself, digitally.
This year’s international reporting project will be special for the students from Pathshala South Asian Media Institute, photo.circle and OsloMet because they must stay within the borders of their country.
The students will learn how to take advantage of the opportunities of the internet and understand its limitations and dangers.
This is the first of a series of digital safety trainings JMIC is planning this spring.
