Tomorrow, the 6th of November, we start the 5th annual conference on the Safety of Journalists – Digital Safety.
Participants from 30 countries will gather for three days to discuss the safety and security for journalists with a particular focus on digital safety. For full program follow this link

The official programme starts at Fritt Ord at 18.00 in the evening the 6th of November. But before that it is possible to listen to a lecture by one of the guests of the conference. The Digital Journalism Research group lead by Oscar Westlund invite everyone to the lecture:

A lecture by Hanan Badr from the Free University in Berlin. She has a secondary appointment as an assistant professor at Department of Journalism at Cairo University.
