A very timely and interesting MEKK-meeting on Colombia and journalism took place in zoom today. Professor Jesus Arroyave Cabrera from Universidad el Norte, currently based in Munich, presented his research paper ‘Peace Journalism: Still an elusive ideal for Columbia?’ and received feedback from Prof. Rune Ottosen and the group.
Toby Miller, Stuart Hall Profesor de Estudios Culturales Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana in Mexico City, presented from some of his recent books and a special issue on the Colombian peace process in the journal Social Identities and received comments from Prof. Roy Krøvel.
