Josephine Munch Rasmussen


ABOUT

Josephine Munch Rasmussen holds a PhD in archaeology and heritage studies from the University of Oslo (2014). Her research and published work concerns history of institutions and collections, repatriation, cultural heritage diplomacy, and international trade in forged stolen cultural property. She is the leader of DECOPE, a  European research project that involves researchers and heritage professionals in Spain, Norway, Scotland and Ukraine. The project investigates theft and  targeting as well as care for cultural heritage in the wake of Russia’s full scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
