Scenario workshop – 13 November 2026
Arranged by Nord University Business School at the UKRAINETT+ Conference 2026
Venue: OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University
The future is unpredictable – but it can be explored. Nord University Business School invites you to a two-part scenario-building workshop examining possible development pathways for Norwegian–Ukrainian cooperation toward 2036.
Part 1: 12 November (14:15–15:45) – Introductory session, Parallel Session 5
We begin with an introductory module providing a clear and practical overview of the scenario methodology. Participants will receive a set of short reflection tasks to complete the day before the main workshop.
Part 2: 13 November (09:00-14:00) – Main scenario workshop
Building on the introductory session, participants will work collaboratively to identify key drivers, uncertainties, and strategic choices shaping the future of Ukraine, Norway, and the international context. Together, we will co-construct contrasting yet plausible long-term scenarios using the internationally recognized Shell scenario methodology.
Shell scenario methodology is a structured approach that helps organizations explore long-term futures, question assumptions, and think strategically in the face of uncertainty. It creates individual and collective mental preparedness to face uncertain futures.
Participation: The workshop is limited to 30 participants. Early registration is recommended, as places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. You can find the workshop registration in the call for abstracts form.
