Martin Paulsen (UiB) represented UKRAINETT at the annual conference of the Denkraum Ukraine center at the University of Regensburg on 22.-23. september. The conference had the title Spatial Turns in Ukrainian Studies and attracted scholars from Ukraine, Europe and North America.
Paulsen was part of a panel on Ukrainian Studies in International Dialogue together with representatives of centers for Ukrainian studies in Canada, Germany and Switzerland. A key take away message from the discussion was the need to institutionalize Ukrainian studies beyond the short-term funding that has been available in the immediate aftermath of 2022.
