The Nordic-Baltic HROMADA Network, in collaboration with the University of Latvia, will organise the conference Strengthening Ukraine: Sharing Knowledge for a Sustainable Future on 24 October 2024 in Riga.
The programme – which will be continuously updated – includes four expert panels on 1) Ukraine’s European integration, 2) forcibly displaced Ukrainians in the Nordic and Baltic countries, 3) mental health support for individuals, families and communities in Ukraine, and 4) the situation of Ukrainian school children in Ukraine and abroad.
HROMADA is a network of around 80 scholars and experts from the Nordic and Baltic countries with specific expertise on Ukraine. The network aims to be a platform for disseminating policy-relevant knowledge to decision-makers from the municipal to the international level. HROMADA gets financial support from the Nordic Council of Ministers for two years (2023-2024).
The conference is open to all for physical and online attendance, click here for registration (registration will open soon).
On 25 October HROMADA members will meet for a network workshop.
