Laura A. Janda (PhD, UCLA, 1984) is Professor of Russian at UiT The Arctic University of Norway. Her work focuses primarily on morphology and construction grammar of Slavic languages and the creation of research-based language pedagogy resources.

RECENT PROJECTS

THREAT-DEFUSER explores the role of “soft” information strategies propagated through mass and social media that constitute hybrid warfare. We investigate Norwegian perceptions of Russia, as well as Russian perceptions of Norway, in the context of Norwegian national security. https://threat-defuser.org/
