The project is an evaluation of the Norwegian measure Restraining Orders – a preventive measure aimed at securing victims of violence, threats and harassment. An overall aim of the project is to evaluate whether the measure is an effective means of preventing and protecting victims of domestic violence.
The project is based on interviews with representatives from the police and public prosecutors. A content analysis of sentences on violations of restraining orders is also conducted. The evaluation will be completed within September 15, 2018.
