She is co-editor-in-chief of the international journal Anthropology of Food and her research includes food practices, migrants, body and health. Dr. Charles-Édouard de Suremain (UMR 208 PaLoc, IRD-MNHN) in Paris has expertise in food studies in South America. Isabelle Techoueyres is a research engineer in social and cultural anthropology at the University of Bordeaux Montaigne. Her research includes food in situations of migration and precariousness, regional food habits and health, terroir and local productions in South West France. Sarah Marchiset is a FOOD2GATHER PhD student at the Bordeaux Montaigne University (UMR CNRS – Passages). Specialised in food and minorities issues since the Master of anthropology she completed in 2017, she is presently doing fieldwork in the Bordeaux Metropolis, in order to understand, with people she meets, how food can be a vector for (in)hospitality.
