UKRAINETT+ podcast in Ukrainian – “Norwegian support to Ukraine: What is the Nansen Programme about?”

As part of the UKRAINETT+ project, we are pleased to present two podcasts in Ukrainian, created by the Dnipro-based Sociological Company “Operatyvna sotsiolohiia” in collaboration with Norwegian and Ukrainian stakeholders. Information on the Nansen Programme in Ukraine has been limited. Therefore, these podcasts aim to convey essential insights about the Programme, with a special focus on its civic and humanitarian aspects.

In the first podcast (https://youtu.be/JIs0jJwKWi8), OperSo explores the question, “How and why does Norway support Ukraine?” through interviews with Christian Syse from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Oleksandra Deineko, a Ukrainian scholar in Norway. This episode provides an overview of the Nansen Programme’s main goals, its agenda, and the motivations behind Norway’s support for Ukraine.

The second podcast (https://youtu.be/f5RvzK3KyBY) delves into the Programme’s components and its operations in Ukraine, featuring insights from Anatolii Kyryliuk, Senior Adviser at NORAD (Norway), Tatiana Velshyna, Technical Field Manager at Norwegian People’s Aid (Ukraine), and Olena Telenyk, Project Manager for Eastern Europe at Save the Children Norway.
