Lviv Conference of Ukrainian Studies “Ukraine in the World” (8 – 10 July)

The Open Call for the Conference of Ukrainian Studies “Ukraine in the World” (8–10 July 2026, Lviv) is currently available.

The Conference aims to establish a major international platform in Ukraine, uniting academic centers and individual researchers from around the globe to shape a modern vision of Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar studies.

As Ukraine becomes increasingly visible on the world stage, it emerges as a central topic of study, discussion, public events, and expert debates. This heightened interest, especially following the start of the full-scale invasion, has expanded the scope of Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar studies within a global and crossdisciplinary context.

Date and place: 8-10 July 2026, at the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv, Ukraine.

Applications can be submitted via the Ukrainian Institute website. Application deadline: 20 May 2026

The conference is organized by the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Institute, and the Ukrainian Catholic University, in cooperation with the Global Coalition of Ukrainian Studies and with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation.
