Abstract: This article discusses the Health and Environmental Network (HENVINET) project, which aimed to enhance interdisciplinary collaboration in environment and health by establishing a professional network and developing interactive tools for knowledge evaluation and policy advice. Employing the Drivers-Pressures-State-Exposure-Effect-Action framework and open web technologies, the project facilitated expert elicitation and provided scientifically based advice for policy-making in areas such as asthma, cancer, and nano-particles. The outcomes underscore the importance of interdisciplinary communication and innovative tools in environmental health governance.
