Nisanka U. S. Rajapakse Mohottige is a MASCOT PhD candidate. The aim of her PhD project is to investigate how computational thinking (CT) and programming are integrated into mathematics and science subjects in the primary and lower secondary teacher education programmes in Norway. In the first part of the project, Nisanka conducts a document analysis/social network analysis of the mathematics and science course descriptions of the courses offered during the first cycle of the primary and lower secondary teacher education programmes. In the second part, she will gather empirical data by using video observations, direct observations and interviews.
