Reparasjonstreff – møt vår gjesteforsker Iryna

I mai og juni har vi besøk fra Designskolen Kolding:
Iryna Kucher is an Eco-Social designer and PhD fellow in the Sustainability Lab at Design School Kolding, Denmark. Within her PhD project, she conducts a comparative study of slow rhythms of consumption in the field of fashion, addressing its attention to the practices of mending, both traditional and new. Through design, the project examines the understanding of mending’s aesthetic codes and explores how people develop their mending competencies in Western (Danish) and Post-socialist (Ukrainian) contexts.
I den forbindelse arrangerer vi reparasjonstreff hvor hun vil presentere prosjektet sitt for oss.
Vi ønsker deretter å diskutere reparasjon mer generelt.
Noen spørsmål vi har er:
- Hva skjer i Norge på dette feltet akkurat nå?
- Hvordan skal vi jobbe videre med reparasjon, både innen forskning og praktisk?
